Critique Plus
This offers the benefit of saving on the cost of a full developmental edit while providing more than a simple critique. It can be extremely helpful.
Our Critique Plus is either:
a halfway house between critique and edit, with the focus on the report or on the margin comments as you prefer. For example, we can write the kind of editorial report you’d get with a full edit, but with no or very few comments, or the converse; a full MS of margin comments with just a short editorial report. The cost is usually around two thirds of a full developmental edit;
or:
a critique, but with extra, in-depth focus in the report on areas you identify or questions you pose. The price varies according to the anticipated work, but usually around half the cost of a full developmental edit. This kind of Critique Plus offers a flexible answer if you have specific questions or areas of concern that means you need more than a critique, but don’t want to go the whole hog of a full edit.
